Learn 1 New Word Each Day

Knowledge The Dictionary

Good advice’s are not considered good when they were not asked for. Rather offensive. Then some we see the true value of and begin to appreciate years later.

Learn one new word each day, is something my brother told me. He gladly demonstrated by opening up a dictionary.

English is my second language and I don’t master it as much as I would like to so this learn one new word each day would be a good way for me to expand my vocabulary.

  1. Hi. Thank you for stopping by my blog. šŸ™‚ I never would have guessed from your writing that English was your second launguage. You express yourself very well.

I like this simple post. Learning a new word everyday is a fun idea, actually! Though it’s not a new word to me, my favorite word is “Serendipity” ~The faculty of making fortunate discoveries by accident. It’s just fun to say and the definition fills my heart with hope. Since I really like this post, I also have a new word today: “Wunderkind”~ one who achieves success or acclaim during youth. (Wow, I seriously didn’t know that was a real word)….

    Thanks for your post!

Oh, the reason why I thought of serendipity was because as I was falling asleep last night, I had a set of words from a song called “Dreamer” stuck in my head…. “I believe in fairy tales and serendipitous encounters….” I’ll post the youtube video below. Have a great day!

    • Hello Currie Rose,

thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment, and wow what a quality comment it is!

The word Serendipity has a great meaning! Though I have heard it before in different contexts I really didn’t know the meaning of it.

Loving the nature where the video was shot. Do you know where it is… ?

I’ll be stalking your blog in a min and leave you a comment. šŸ™‚
