We don’t need to share opinions

Some people need things to do. They need to find an interest, maybe even reevaluate their entire lives. Practise positive thinking if your energy is attracting too much of the negative things.

It has always baffled me how anyone becomes offended by another’s personal opinion. How do they have energy to care about it? Particularly the opinion’s of strangers.

When you are confident enough about yourself you do not have time to deal with the opinions of others. Some waste soo much energy & time they could spend on something they love instead on reacting & responding to matters which they don’t agree on.

Ask yourself that.

The world population, the totality of all living humans on the planet Earth, as of today, is estimated to 6 or 7 billion people and everyone is their own person that has their own beliefs and as long as they are not intentionally hurting somebody they have a right to their own beliefs, ideas, life styles and such. Why do you have the need to force your opinion’s on to others? Ask yourself that. Life is very diverse and can you not respect that you have a problem and that problem is within yourself, no one else is the problem. If you do not love yourself enough to be happy (yes, happiness is a choice) then at least realize this and stay the hell away with your depressing self cause you are only making yourself seem stupid.

Different opinions do not have to equal war.

Different opinions do not have to equal war. I am confident enough to let you have your opinion. Make your opinion clear but do it polite. Your attitude might actually push people away and you could end up alone one day if you don’t learn to be polite, no one likes rudeness.

I prefer to live in harmony with my inner self and spend the time on myself and those I love. I am not going to waste my life caring about other’s opinions.

Children and the words Penis and Vagina

Boy and Girl Education

Boy and Girl Education

At what age do you tell your children what their private parts are called!?!?!?

Since a couple of months back my son who turned three back in October (30) last year has got to that stage where he is interested in that thing down there. He did something really funny ones; I was sitting on the computer, probably composing a blog post and he calls out mom. I turn around and he has got himself butt naked and has put a sock on his penis. This is my lil’ comedian.

So, he’s asked us “-What is this?” and I personally think that 3 isn’t old enough to learn anything about it other than taking it easy with it and not put the dinosaur’s sharp tail in there. I know that if I tell him it’s his penis he is going to shout the word out at all the wrong times like on a crowded buss or in line at the grocery store.

So when he asked “-What is this?” his daddy told him “-That’s your pistol.” and I think that is the PERFECT word for it at this age.

My partner suffers from Sleep Paralysis

I do not like things which are connected to the dark side. Things like Satanism and witchcraft I do not want anything to do with. I may not be the most active member of any church these days, and despite growing up with parents who were Atheists around the age of 22 I became what the Bible refer to as a born again Christian.

Since I have become a mother the world seems more real to me. When I was younger horror movies was my type of comedy and these days I can hardly watch them. Truth of the matter is dark things terrify me, which brings me to my point of composing this blog entry.

The person is awake in mind but the body is asleep.

Definition of sleep paralysis: So, sleep paralysis is a type of sleeping condition which can last from several seconds to several minutes, with some rare cases being hours. In addition, the paralysis is accompanied by terrifying hallucinations of demonic visitation. Sleep paralysis occurs either when falling asleep, or when awakening. The person is awake in mind but the body is asleep. The person remains aware while the body shuts down. Person is unable to call for help or sit up.

It terrifies me, to wake up during the night to the vague sounds of panic my partner makes when he has these demonic visitations during nights of sleep paralysis. Sometimes up to 4 times in one week I wake him up to get his out of it and other times he doesn’t experience it for 2 or 3 months.

Wake me up.

My own experience of sleep paralysis: When I was between the ages of approximately 7 and 24 I frequently suffered from a mild variety[1] of sleep paralysis. I call it mild because I never encountered any demonic visitation, thank God. What would happen was that when I was tired and about to fall asleep, my body fell asleep before my brain did which left me in a state where I was wide awake but couldn’t move my body or open my eyes and I couldn’t speak. I couldn’t grab the attention of anybody in our house to come wake me up. It was really frustrating, I tried to not panic and to get myself out of it I fought so hard to wiggle my feet and the body eventually woke up. I had to sit myself up and wake up completely because if not I would likely slip right back in to it. I knew everything that was going on around me, I remember hearing my mother around the house during these episodes.

Is sleep paralysis a mental disorder or genetic?

Because of my son I am wondering about sleep paralysis and genetic, if both parents have it then what could the chances be that the offspring will become afflicted by this. I hope for his sake that sleep paralysis is a mental disorder developed by situations in life rather than it being inherited.

[1]Note: I’m not educated in this area, referring it to a mild variety is likely not the correct term. Simply a way for me to explain myself & it.

Learn 1 New Word Each Day

Knowledge The Dictionary

Knowledge The Dictionary

Good advice’s are not considered good when they were not asked for. Rather offensive. Then some we see the true value of and begin to appreciate years later.

Learn one new word each day, is something my brother told me. He gladly demonstrated by opening up a dictionary.

English is my second language and I don’t master it as much as I would like to so this learn one new word each day would be a good way for me to expand my vocabulary.
